18:30 Doors 19:00 Scarface (1983)

Milk Made presents: Sounds & Scores, a celebration of favourite soundtracks and scores. This third edition focuses on the timeless soundscapes of the 1983 crime drama Scarface, curated by film enthusiast Tina Khojastehpay. She will give a short introduction.

Tony Montana (Al Pacino) is a Cuban immigrant who rises to power in the drug trade in Miami, Florida, during the 1980s. The film follows Montana's ruthless ascent to wealth and status, his struggles with addiction and paranoia, and his eventual downfall. Giorgio Moroder took charge of composing the entire film score, teaming up with Arthur Barrow, Sylvester Levay, and Kristian Schultze to arrange and program synthesizers. From upbeat disco numbers to dark and sinister tracks that enhance different moments in the film.
